We've made quite the noise about being an all-natural, no-sugar-added ice cream. With no artificial preservatives, colours and flavours, Island Growers has created a wholesome ice cream you can enjoy without the added sugar and junk!
But what is it made of? Here is a list of the main ingredients we use to craft our premium ice creams

Cream Base - 
Milk - 100% local, pastuerised full cream milk, not reconstituted. 
Cream - 100% milk cream made from real milk
Cream Cheese - real cream cheese for that extra creaminess

Sweetener
Allulose - the main and only sweetener used. Allulose is a monosaccharide and non-nutritive sweetener which can be found naturally in some fruits. A monosaccharide, or simple sugar, allulose is absorbed by the body, but not metabolized so it is nearly calorie-free.

Stabilisers - 
Guar gum is a natural thickener, stabilizer, and emulsifier extracted from guar beans. It is a water-soluble dietary fiber used in our ice cream products to improve texture, prevent ingredients from separating, and increase fullness.
Xanthan gum is a natural thickener and stabiliser used in ice cream production to improve its texture and stability. In ice cream, it prevents the formation of large ice crystals, leading to a smoother and creamier consistency

Emulsifier - 
Sunflower lecithin is a natural emulsifier derived from sunflower seeds that helps blend ingredients that wouldn't normally mix, like oil and water. In ice cream, it's used to create a smoother, creamier texture by preventing large ice crystals from forming, improving shape stability, and ensuring a consistent, slow melt.
